We have ambitious plans to grow the Salon having had great feedback based on the four interviews and three live sessions offered so far. New interviews are about to be published and the dates of the next three live sessions have already been announced. And, as we continue the Inflection series during 2025, many more great thinkers have agreed to participate. More details are given below.
Later in the programme we plan to announce the date of the online “Inflection Conference” and the “Inflection Book,” to distil the themes and insights emerging from this series. But, to continue the series, and to make the conference and the book a reality, we need you support.

THE INFLECTION SERIES
“Inflection” is the title of the first salon series, exploring reasons we are at an inflection point in human history. If we make the right decisions, we can achieve another leap of progress in the human story. But the nature of the challenges we face mean the future of humanity is threatened if we make the wrong decisions. And the quality of our existence during the transition is also threated. In this context, our ability to make the right choices has never been more important.
In this series we are undertaking a systematic investigation of the issues from multiple perspectives with experts from a wide range of disciplines. They are taking part in interactive dialogues with our global audience. And each dialogue is based on a pre-recorded interview to stimulate the dialogues. DETAILS ON THE SERIES
THE INTERVIEWS SO FAR
In the first interview Indy Johar explained how we must get beyond our delusions and recognise we are on a path to mutually assured destruction, so we can start to think how we might get ourselves on a path to mutually assured flourishing instead.
In the second interview Lord Alderdice spoke of Saving ourselves from ourselves and the need to overcome conflict and establish enough trust to be able to cooperate effectively in addressing our challenges.
We then heard from Donna Hicks in the third interview. She talked about leading and living with dignity requires us to be more conscious of our own dignity and the dignity of others. This is how we can overcome conflict and improve our relationships with one another.
And in the fourth interview with Neil Hawkes we explored his work on Values-based education in schools around the world, so that future generations might have the knowledge, and a vocabulary, to use effectively in their relationships with themselves and each other.
